SVC Commercial Now in Theatres

Dr. Langford November 15th, 2006

Well…the Westates Theatres have local ads that run before the movie trailers, so one has to be seated early to see them. I know when I go with friends to the movies, we always end up late, so for those that missed it, here is the commercial.

The story line is mine, and inSight Features produced the commercial for me, and I think they did a great job. Paul and his wife are broadcasting majors at USU and have a production company on the side.

You will recognize Smithfield City council member, Kris Monson, in the role of the computer-eye-strained woman. The voice talent is Q92’s Bill Logan. He’s got that edgy but smooth radio voice that I wish I had for podcasting.

The ad plays on the large screen in Cache Valley Westates Theatres twice before each show until the end of February.

Nice! That was really impressive. Better than most of the local ads I see on TV (admit it - you miss Carpet Carl! ;-)). Thanks for posting that, and geek points++ for using PodPress and making it an enclosure for us feed subscribers.

I’m due for an eye exam, and if I didn’t live three states away, I’d come see you for sure. :-)

Josh, anytime you are in Utah, stop by. I’ll even throw in a place to stay!
