Dr. Langford November 2nd, 2006
Dr. Langford has family roots in Smithfield and Logan which is what attracted him to move to Cache Valley. He attended Ricks College and Idaho State University. After graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry (Forest Grove, OR), he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Public Health Service and detailed to the Indian Health Service. After serving two years in an IHS hospital in Montana, he decided to move his family to Smithfield to be closer to extended family.
Dr. Langford’s hospital-based optometry experience allowed him to become proficient in managing the eye-related components of medical conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid dysfunction, and more. He also manages medical eye conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, iritis, red/pink/infectious eyes, foreign body removal, eye injuries, and he also co-manages eye surgeries like cataracts and LASIK.
Dr. Langford also performs routine eye exams and contact lens exams.
