Reorder Contacts

Dr. Langford December 22nd, 2005

If you received a contact lens prescription from Summit Vision Center and opted to give us your e-mail address, you may order more contact lenses online and have them shipped directly to your house. We work closely with DirectContactLenses.com to give you this service. Your account name and password at this site should have been e-mailed to you after your contact lens follow-up appointment. (Call us if you didn’t receive it or need a reminder.)

In fact, we prefer you use this internet service to reorder your contact lenses. Of course, be sure to call us if you experience any problems with ordering more contacts from DirectContactLenses.com.

Remember, your contact lens prescription expires after one year. This is because contact lenses not only need to be monitored for your vision, but they are also FDA-regulated medical devices which can effect the health of your eyes if not fitting properly, handled properly, or worn properly. You wouldn’t expect your internist to renew high blood pressure medications without a check-up, right? If your contact lens prescription is out of date, please call us to make an appointment as soon as possible.
